Cancer Research 'David' Hopes to Slay 'Cancer Goliath'

PHOENIX, March 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- What if after 100 years of searching by major institutions and government agencies for the conquest of cancer, a small, unheralded, non-profit organization could become the "David" that helped slay the Cancer Goliath?

Improbable? Perhaps. Impossible? No. Remember the two young men who from their garage revolutionized the computer industry?

CHAI Foundation for Medical Research & Life Extension, Inc. (CHAI Foundation), a 501(c)(3) non-profit cancer research organization in Phoenix, AZ, was established eleven (11) years ago to find effective but less toxic forms of cancer treatment. They have now confirmed an anti-cancer material which they gave the laboratory name, Protein-B(LPN).

Protein-B(LPN) has been found to enhance the immune system by particularly enhancing Beta cells, causing them to strengthen specific anti-cancer antibodies.

The active material is a biological agent resulting from a pre-treated serum injected into a particular large animal. The serum causes the animal's system to create an immune-stimulating antibody which in turn is injected into a special strain of mice that has naturally occurring breast cancer. (The injected pre-treated serum into the large animal appears to give the animal lifetime immunity to cancer).

Protein-B(LPN) has shown effectiveness on a number of organ sites in both man and animals toward the conquest of cancer without the toxicity normally associated with today's modalities. Please see: www.chaifoundation.org

"It has been the passion of my life since childhood to help bring about the conquest of cancer," said Eroca Daniel, CEO of CHAI Foundation.

The anti-cancer material was clinically tested outside the U.S. by Dr. Eric R. Brown on patients exhibiting lesions in one or more sites of the breast, skin, liver, lung, spine, pancreas, prostate, ovary, and stomach. In addition, some effectiveness was seen in an instance of lymphoid leukemia, and one of a glioma of the ocular nerve. These tests preceded his more recent death due to an unfortunate accident.

As a small Foundation hard hit by the untimely death of their world-class Research Director and Microbiologist, Eric R. Brown, M.D., Ph.D. (Virology & Immunology) et al, and one who does not maintain its own laboratory, CHAI Foundation's Board is exploring collaboration possibilities to help complete and bring to fruition the promising findings of this cancer treatment breakthrough for amelioration, reduction, and/or elimination of malignant tumors.

It is also theorized that with further study the material could be made into a vaccine.

CHAI Foundation believes they know what the anti-cancer material is, and possibly where it originates.

Additional funding as well as collaboration is needed to:

(1) recreate the formula to conduct new studies

(2) conduct a viability test on a special endogenous mouse model comparing it to earlier test results on this model, and

(3) carry out a new clinical test on some 50 U.S. patients.
