CHAI Foundation Verifies Research Treatment Breakthrough –Seeks
Collaboration
Phoenix, AZ. CHAI Foundation
for Medical Research and Life Extension, Inc. (CHAI Foundation), a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization who for years has focused on a particular
non-toxic cancer therapy, is cautiously optimistic on results it has
received from studies on both animals and man in what appears to hold promise
as a cancer research treatment breakthrough. Collaboration with other
scientific centers is sought.
In a small unpublished (35 patient) clinical
study done outside the U.S. on an experimental drug designated Protein-B (LPN)
by American doctor Eric R. Brown, (M.D., Ph.D. Immunology & Virology), prior
to becoming CHAI Foundation’s scientific research grantee for years until his
untimely death, the drug, an offshoot of an earlier predecessor, showed
positive effects on several malignant sites without toxicity per se.
The study covered patients expressing lesions in
one or more areas of the breast, skin, liver, lung, spine, pancreas, prostate,
ovary, and stomach. In addition, some effectiveness was seen in an instance of
lymphoid leukemia, and one of a glioma of the ocular nerve.
It has been shown that the medication crosses
the brain barrier.
In earlier studies of animals - which by
scientific protocol precedes clinical studies - injection of Protein-B (LPN)
into animals with natural-occurring breast cancer resulted in a 40%
eradication of breast tumors, a measurable degree of tumor reduction in 30%,
and the remaining 30% showing little or no change – for an overall 70%
elimination or reduction of solid tumor(s).
A subsequent study, while not considered
‘statistically significant’ due to the small number of test subjects, had a
significantly greater tumor disappearance: 100% of breast cancer in 80% of
the special mice strain without toxicity, and varying degrees of remission in
the remaining 20%. Remarkable results for a single drug.
After nearly 100 years of research, current
mindset in regard to cancer appears to be that the only thing we can hope for
is “containment” of the disease rather than its cure. CHAI Foundation rejects
that analysis based on the results it has found.
What if cancer, held by current belief to be
many diseases, is as Dr. Brown and some few other intrepid cancer research
experts insist - is one disease? One disease that manifests itself in
scores of different ways throughout the various organs of man and animal
because of a missing or compromised Growth Inhibiting Factor (GIF)? Could
Protein-B (LPN) be that factor? Or could it be the fulcrum that
keeps the GIF and the Growth Promoting Factor (GPF) in balance so as to
maintain a state of homeostatis?
CHAI Foundation has been contacted from overseas
to underwrite its studies abroad, however, they wish to complete their work
here in the United States, and are currently seeking collaboration with other
U. S. research facilities.
